Julian John Cantu Jr. passed away at the VA Hospital of Menlo Park in Menlo Park on Saturday, November 20, 2010. He was 73.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Cantu lived in Watsonville for 25 years. He was an auto salesman for San Jose car dealerships for 20 years. He was very proud of his service with the Air force.
He is survived by his companion of 15 years, Bella Marlar of San Jose; sisters, Anna Marie LeGette of San Jose and Patricia Lynch of Hollister; and nephews, Rob and David LeGette both of San Jose. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dick Cantu.
His family requests donations made in Mr. Cantu’s memory to the VA Hospice and Palliative Care Center 3801 Miranda Ave. Ste #100-4A Palo Alto, CA 94304.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Our Lady Help of Christians Valley Catholic Church today at 1 p.m. Burial will be held privately at the Watsonville Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements were under the direction of Mehl’s Colonial Chapel.
