FREMONT – Police in Fremont announced that one suspect has been arrested and another suspect remains at large after the theft of two luxury Porsche sports cars from a dealership last month.

Officers were called to a burglary at the Porsche dealership on Cushing Parkway on April 4 around 12:45 p.m. According to reports, two suspects stole a GT3 RS and a GT3 from the showroom floor and crashed through the dealership’s front windows. when they left.

The dealer told police the vehicles were worth more than $500,000.

Hours after the burglary, detectives found the stolen GT3 RS in the neighboring municipality of Milpitas. The vehicle was later recovered and returned to the dealer.

A day later, cameras discovered the whereabouts of the stolen Porsche GT3. After conducting surveillance for several hours, detectives arrested the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Nova Moore of Hayward.

Police say Moore was trying to throw away a loaded gun at the time of his arrest. A search of his home turned up several high-capacity rifles, stolen property, money and a police radio scanner.

Moore was indicted on multiple charges, including burglary, conspiracy, being convicted of possession of a firearm and willfully resisting a peace officer. He is being held at the Santa Rita Jail, and his next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.

The other suspect has not been identified. A photo provided by Fremont police shows the suspect wearing a ski mask, heavy jacket, light shirt and dark pants.
